Vintage Vogue E. Wilkins “Baby Dear” Doll. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground.
Cute and cuddly Baby dear doll, marked E. Wilkins on back of left leg, Vogue Dolls Inc. tag on neck, approximately 16 inches long, includes a top knot, vintage unmarked pink dressy dress and vintage wool blanket with fringe at one end. The blanket appears to have been cut down and made into a doll blanket; there is one area of previous wear that had been repaired (stitched) showing in the tenth photo. The vintage dress appears to be in excellent condition, maybe a few threads and delicate cleaning if desired. Baby dear is in good to very good condition for her vintage age and compared to those I’ve seen, she has smudges on her vinyl face, arms and legs that look like they would clean well and of course her hair is scraggly and could use some attention. Also, as I think is the case with most of these dolls, the fill material has moved down from her neck and shoulder giving her an even more floppy appearance. She is very easy to place and mimic real baby poses. Lastly, there is one very small tear/hole in the torso material, shown in the last photo and some minor staining above it.
Please check all the photos and feel free to ask any questions.
Thanks for stopping by and good luck.
